I'm a first generation American that grew up in a middle-upper class southern suburban neighborhood. My sister, who is 6 years older than me, had a filipino accent as a child. I had a southern accent.
I'm the baby girl and I inherited most of my physical and personality traits from my dad (for better or worse).
I went to two universities with great histories and a lot of southern pride.
Because of the first sentence and the previous one, I used to often forget that I'm not white. :)
I am a former competitive tennis player and marathon runner and I'm happiest when I can exercise solo. I'm super social in my regular life but I'm not a very good training buddy. :)
I have a lot of thoughts and not a lot of outlets for them so I'm going to give blogging a shot...
My passions include music (all aspects - listening to it, singing along with it and dancing to it), my crazy husband and dogs, pop culture, travel, laughter, good food, good drink and good friends. My friends and family are the BEST and even when I gripe, I know that I have a very very blessed life.
